Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is a vibrant community of caring parents, students, and staff. Parents are partners in education and demonstrate their commitment to the school by volunteering their time and participating in many school events throughout the year. Students are able to foster unique relationships across grade levels by being a part of a Pre-K through 8th grade school program with opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and friendship. An important part of our community are our highly qualified faculty and staff which includes 12 teachers, instructional assistants in grades K-2, and specialist teachers for music, physical education, art, middle school electives, and a resource coordinator.
At Our Lady of Mount Carmel School we nurture the growth of the whole child with a faith-based education that allows students to learn about our Catholic faith and live it out every day. Catholic values are woven into all that we do through prayer, religion class, attending mass, and serving the world around us. In this Christ-centered atmosphere, the unique qualities of each student are recognized, and children are taught to be active Christian leaders throughout their lives.
The rigorous academic program at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School includes instruction in religion, mathematics, language arts, reading, science, social studies, physical education, integrated technology, and fine arts. Over 75% students score at or above benchmark on standardized tests. Our graduates go on to achieve success in local Catholic and public schools and learn from their experience at Mount Carmel to be life-long learners.
